Rancho 3 Agavez de Cielo Azul (R3A) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between humans and horses. Through guided equine bonding experiences, educational workshops, and community programs, we provide a welcoming environment where people of all ages can build confidence, emotional awareness, and personal growth.
No. R3A is not a horseback riding stable or trail riding business.
Our programs focus on ground-based equine bonding, horse behavior, communication, leadership, mindfulness, and emotional connection. Most experiences take place alongside the horse while remaining on the ground.
Not at all! Our programs are designed for beginners as well as individuals with previous horse experience. Our team will guide you through each activity while prioritizing safety and comfort.
Our programs are available for children, teens, adults, seniors, families, veterans, schools, organizations, and individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. Program eligibility may vary depending on the activity.an answer to this item.
Because we are a working outdoor ranch, accessibility varies by program and weather conditions. Please get in touch with us before your visit so we can discuss your individual needs and determine whether we can safely accommodate your participation.
R3A is a working ranch with natural terrain, uneven surfaces, dirt pathways, dust, insects, and changing weather conditions.
You may encounter:

- Wildlife native to the desert
Every visit is unique and designed to provide an authentic ranch experience.
We recommend:
- Closed-toe shoes or boots
- Comfortable outdoor clothing
- Sunscreen
- Hat or sunglasses
- Water bottle
Please avoid sandals, flip-flops, or loose clothing that may startle horses.
Our horses are carefully selected and handled with respect. However, horses are large prey animals and can react unexpectedly. For everyone's safety, participants must follow staff instructions at all times.

If approved, horses may only be fed horse-safe treats such as apples or carrots under staff supervision.
Yes! Children are invited when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless participating in a program that allows otherwise.
Adult supervision is required throughout the visit.

Our programs are conducted exclusively with R3A horses.
To protect the safety of our animals, participants, and guests, outside pets are not permitted unless they are trained service animals required for a disability. Please let us know before scheduling your visit.
Because most programs take place outdoors, activities may be rescheduled due to excessive heat, high winds, rain, or other unsafe weather conditions.
Participants will be notified as soon as possible.
Reservations can be made online through Zeffy or by contacting us directly.
Some programs require a consultation before scheduling.
Yes.
Every participant (or parent/legal guardian for minors) must complete a liability waiver before participating in any ranch activities.
Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Policies may vary for fundraising events or special workshops. Transferring your program donation is highly recommended. No refunds allowed.
